Thank you for visiting our section of the Carmel Townships website. We hope it provides you with information about Assessing and Taxation practices that is both useful and educational.
The Assessing practice is a mystery to many people. Most people see an Assessment Notice in February each year, and then a tax bill in July, and then another in December. That is the limit of their contact with the Assessor. The links at the bottom of this page will provide you with a brief explanation of the basics of the assessing and taxation practices.
